For Future Business Owners

ENTREPRENEURSHIP EDUCATION WORKSHOPS

Since 2009, Job Training for Beaver County, Inc.  has been providing new and future small business owners with the knowledge, resources and skills needed to successfully start and grow a small business.

Our free Smart Start entrepreneurship education program will provide you with 30 hours of instruction through a series of 10 three-hour workshops.  Key topics include evaluating the feasibility of a small business idea, business structuring and financing options, developing a business plan, perfecting your elevator pitch, marketing & social media, and more.

This 10-workshop series is complemented with presentations from local business professionals and community partners from marketing/social media companies, law and accounting offices, and financial institutions.

Once you complete the 10-workshop series, you can schedule a 1-1 follow up consultation to identify the next steps in your small business journey including referrals to organizations such as Chatham University, SCORE Pittsburgh, Entrepreneurs Forever, and the SBA.

This program is brought to you by the Community Development Program of Beaver County through a Federal Community Development Block Grant.
